A New Friend

On Saturday night we took Jackson to meet McKenna Kemp. We started out at Crazy Horse with friends and then went to Scott and Lori DeVisser's house. Jackson was amazed at McKenna and when we tried to get their picture together the two actually held hands at one point. It was precious! I couldn't resist adding the picture of Scott with Jackson - Jackson loves his buddy Scott.

Snow Day!

Hamilton was lucky enough to join the rest of the 200+ schools on Tuesday who had a snow day. Last year I remember thinking how much more fun snow days will be with a baby and they certainly are much better! Jackson and I were able to hang out all day long and play. As a working mom I certainly treasure those kind of days.

Jackson's First Sleepover

Jackson's cousin Cohen came over on Saturday night to spend the night. Jackson loves watching other kids play so he definitely enjoyed having Cohen there. Of course they had some "tubby" time before bed. It was funny watching the two interact in there. Cohen wanted to play with the toys and Jackson kept trying to scoot closer to Cohen (which Cohen wasn't so sure of!). The boys even humored us and let us take a picture of them dressed as twins.

Michigan City with Family and Friends

Over Christmas break, we went down to Michigan City with the VanDorps and VanderPlaats. We spent some time shopping and at the casino but most of the time was spent just hanging out with good friends.

Christmas with the Hansen's

On Christmas day we got together with the Hansen's and celebrated. Again Jackson got tons of toys! Although his favorite part was playing with the wrapping paper.

We spent Christmas Eve with my family. It's been tradition since we've been married that Luke and I then spend the night on Christmas Eve and we didn't fail to continue with that this year. My mom made a big dinner before we opened presents - Jackson preferred to eat the table rather than his food. Grandpa bought the boys Cornerstone shirts so we had to get their picture wearing them. Then we went to the 11pm Christmas Eve service at church. Jackson even made it to that service and of course he woke up as soon as the service started! It was a ton of fun this year though as Jackson was there with us. He received lots of toys - including a SUPER noisy ride on toy from Great Grandma Dozeman!

6 month pictures

Jackson had his 6 month pictures on December 26 and I'm finally getting them posted! These last two weeks sure have flown! We'll have more pics to post soon.
