Memorial Day

Jackson was in his very first parade on Monday morning. His friend Trey invited him to ride in his wagon with him as their Mom's walked behind the Blue Star Elementary floats. Despite being pelted with candy at the beginning, Jackson liked watching all of the people. Thanks Trey for inviting us!

Later in the day we decided it was a perfect beach day so after slathering on that sunscreen, we went to the beach. Jackson was covered in sand but didn't seem to mind! We can't wait until the water gets a bit warmer though.

At night we went out for ice cream and Jackson seemed to think that he was a big boy and could eat from Daddy's cone! Good thing Daddy doesn't mind sharing! Then we had to say goodbye to Jackson's cousin Trent as they went back to Indiana after a weekend up north.

Thank you for riding in my wagon with me. It was fun to be in my very first parade with you! Can't wait to do it again next year!
